Bounce up for air,
Yet absorbed nonstop,
Absorbed into the pool,
So they begin to dance,
Invited by all others
To swim, accept the chance.
To identify with those around,
And I, too, must do the same,
Read: “Rohinga sisters raped and shamed,”
I bow my head before The Name.
Created, as are they, by Living God,
I pray and ask for grace,
That in such horror, they see Christ’s face,
And find release-a safer space.
For I, too, am in this living sea,
God sees them – God sees me;
I ask to have a heart like His,
That a safe, inviting soul, I may be.

“God’s various gifts are handed out everywhere; but they all originate in God’s Spirit. God’s various ministries are carried out everywhere; but they all originate in God’s Spirit. God’s various expressions of power are in action everywhere; but God Himself is behind it all. Each person is given something to do that shows who God is: Everyone gets in on it, everyone benefits. All kinds of things are handed out by the Spirit, and to all kinds of people! The variety is wonderful…”
